The Vision…

“‘Turning the Tide’ is about seeing God turn the tide of what is happening to today’s young generation. So much of what we see and hear in the wider media is negative: family breakdowns continuing to become more common, drug abuse, low morals, violent crime by and against young people, even suicide becoming commonplace.

God hates all of this and wants to touch the young people of our nation and beyond. We believe that the only way He will reach the rest of this generation is through the Christian young people, who are ‘the righteous remnant’. We also believe that we are already seeing the first fruits of this, for example in some of the schools of our nation. ‘Turning the Tide’ is about equipping these youngsters for this mighty task.

We have learnt that the first priority has to be prayer.

The key aim is to empower the Christian young people themselves to reach their own peers.

“I have been praying for a revival in our land for years and I am no less passionate about it as a result. Having heard and read many prophecies about it, I am of the belief that it will come and when it comes, it will be through the young people. So we aim in all we do to equip the young Christians we work with and to be ready for God to use them to reach their peers.

“‘Please God, may TTT be a channel of your mercy and a mighty instrument in your hands.’”

1 Timothy 4:12 says:

“Don’t let anyone look down on because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love and in purity.”
